Support for Academics, HR Managers & Recommenders

Yes. We understand that semester start dates are sometimes later than the last day for enrolment. Let us l know if you need to enrol late.

We build the teams two days before the launch date, so this is the final time that we can accept enrollees. They must have responded to our email  with submitting their bio and completing their Peer-Leader Self-Evaluation. Neither of these requirements take much time, but the enrollee does need to receive our email and respond promptly. So late enrolments put pressure on you to ensure your enrollees have our email address (deb [at] windeaters.co.nz) in their safe sender list, and promptly respond to our emailed request for their bio and self evaluation.

You are able to view our live database to keep track of any missing enrolments.

The number of enrolees we can accept from one university or organisation depends on the programme and country. Please check if you have large numbers enroling.

No. Each person enrols. However we can provide you with the live excel spreadsheet so you can keep abreast of who has enrolled, completed the requirements, and their performace. Yes. We have two systems to provide you with the same information that is provided to your students or staff enrolled on the programme:

  1. We add you to a Microsoft Team for academics, HR managers and recommenders. This provides the same information as your enrollees, as well as other support information for you.
  2. You can provide a pseudo enrolment for the contest. You will then receive all the maill merged emails at the same time as your enrollees as though you were in the programme.

Yes. Here is a Word version that you can edit in any way that works for you.

Yes. You can use the one developed by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations for the contest. It is two minutes long, and fairly general. Access it here.

Yes. However we are only able to upload a pdf version on this site. Please contact the organiser,This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  to send you the PowerPoint version. Or you can ask Deb to present it to your students at a time that works for you.

Yes. We have some course outlines to share. The Global Enterprise Experience is used for a wide variety of programmes so the course outlines may or may not relate to your programme. We would also welcome you making your course outline available for other academics to learn from you.

Yes for some things.

We can provide you with live access to the excel running sheet. Please treat this with the same level of confidentiality that you apply to student records in your university. It has access to information such as  completion of each stage, the Team Proposal mark, and the 360 degree feedback (both feedback of others, and others feedback of your enrolees).

Please discuss with us if you want to use the Team Proposal marks. This is the proposal marksheet.

The 360 degree feedback provides useable rankings of contribution to the team effort which are suitable for assessment, but the bare numbers are not suitable.

You can also view the quality of your student's feedback of their colleagues. We only mark the quality of feedback for those who might win a leadership or a peer-leadership award, or if they are eligible for a Victoria University of Wellington leadership micro-credential. This is the marksheet that we use. We have found it takes about 2 minutes per enrolee to provide a meaningful mark on the quality of feedback.

We cannot offer you marks for the Personal Reflection as we do not mark every reflection. This is the marksheet that we use for Peer-Leadership.

We can provide you with their Peer-Leadership Self-Evaluation scores. These are not suitable for assessment, but are a great for developing insight and discussion.

We can provide you with details of completion of all requirements:

Prior to the contest

  • Submitting the bio
  • Completing the Peer-Leader Self Evaluation

After the contest:

  • Submitting the Team Proposal on time
  • Their name included on the front page
  • Submitting their Personal Reflection on time
  • Completing their 360 degree feedback on time
  • Providing meaningful 360 feedback
